Dubai Shopping Festival 2019, What’s On for the New Season

Dubai Shopping Festival 2019 is Emirate’s biggest shopping festival of the year with more than 1500 stores joining to offer big discounts and amazing deals. This is the 24th annual Dubai shopping festival that started on the 26th of December 2018 and will go on for 39 days.
The shopping festival runs from midday to midnight across all the participating stores and malls in the city centers, such as Deira, Al Shindagha, Me’aisem, Mirdif, My City Centre Al Barsha, and Emirates. The customers will receive huge discounts on accessories, fashion and homeware. If you want to make the most out of the shopping festival 2019 in Dubai, here’s a guide for you.

The Stores Taking Part:

If you’re looking for discounts on electronics, you can shop from the major stores such as Jumbo Electronics, Carrefour, Sharaf DG, and Virgin MegaStore. The multi-brand stores such as Debenhams and Harvey Nichols have discount deals too. If you’re interested in fashion and beauty, you must visit Topshop, H&M, Mango, Zara, Hollister, Abercrombi & Fitch, and AllSaints. If you want to buy homeware, you can try Zara Home, West Elm, Villeroy & Boch, Crate & Barrel, Tavola, IDesign and Tanagra.

Weekend Surprises at DSF:

During the 39-day Dubai Shopping Festival, there will be many weekends. The participating stores and malls will be hosting ‘weekend surprises’ during which the people will get to take advantage of even more discounts. The weekend surprises are typically announced one day earlier and run on every Thursday, Friday and Saturday during the event.

Raffle Draws and Prizes:

The Dubai Shopping Festival will also offer a chance for customers to win prizes on a daily basis. There will be Raffle draws where the Raffle ticket holders can win Dhs 20,000 every week. Nissan and Infiniti are having Raffle draws where customers will be given a chance to win Nissan cars. Other prizes that will be given out include Infiniti QX50 and Dhs 150,000, up to 32 kilograms of Gold and a top mega cash prize of Dhs 500,000.

Entertainment:

Apart from the shopping and discount offers, tourists will also get to enjoy the fireworks that take place every Thursday and Friday night at the Dubai Shopping Festival. The fireworks will take place at La Mer, Al Seef and The Beach.
