The UAE’s biggest wildlife attraction is modeled after a realistic African safari.
The park is located close to Sharjah, but precisely 49 kilometers away. It is located in Al Dhaid and was constructed during 7 years. Visitors will be able to experience the life and terrain of the animals and birds that inhabit 12 different ecosystems, each representing a different region of Africa.
At the moment, the Sharjah Safari Park is home to over 600 animals, including lions, giraffes, and rhinos, with another 300 more anticipated later this month and in March. Wuhaida, the first female southern white rhino born in Safari Park Sharjah in August, is one of the highlights. Wuhaida was born as a result of the safari’s breeding program, which is funded by the United Nations and focuses on African indigenous animals.
Visitors will also have the opportunity to meet Bridi, Sharjah Safari’s first female African giraffe. Moreover, more than 1000 animals are waiting for you. Another 600 animals roam the park at the moment, with approximately 300 more coming later.
The Park has welcomed nearly 100,000 African trees, with Samar trees proving to be particularly popular.
