DUBAI FOUNTAIN IS THE WORLD’S BIGGEST FOUNTAIN. GET TO KNOW MORE ABOUT THIS PHENOMENAL CREATION RIGHT HERE.
Imagine a beautiful place with stars held in the sky above your head, and the world around you is filled with the stunning view of music and choreography on the surface of striking still water with the reflections of amazing lights …only the dancers are not humans, but fountains. Yes, the fountains! A view breathtaking and worth watching, isn’t it?
If you happen to visit Dubai by any chance, don’t forget to pay a visit to man made lake of iconic Burj Khalifah at the center of Downtown Dubai. You will see a view to be remembered for a life time. And it would be even better if you go after the sun sets.
The lake is the home to the world’s largest system of choreographed fountain that covers an area as big as 30 acres. The fountain is animated to the rhythm of an amazing selection of music and 6600 lights with projections in 25 different colors. All this adds up to something beyond imagination! The music selection includes both traditional and world music with Arabic, Indian, American and Italian songs and poetry pieces on the repertoire.
Dubai Fountain is a creation of California based company WET, the one behind the fabulous Bellagio Fountains in Las Vegas. The fountains shoot water up to 500 feet and are 275 meters long making a spectrum of over a 1000 abstract attractions. The nozzle distribution of Dubai Fountain consists of five circles of different sizes placed along one large and one small arc. It is also visible under clear water from any near by building in the day light when the fountain is at rest.
The repertoire is performed daily; in the afternoon and evenings as well. But the most stunning one is the evening show when a whole new world of lights and music comes alive. Air filled with the sound of a traditional song and the lights and fountains dancing with the rhythm…just imagine the view from up above the sky. The show goes on for hours in the evening, so there is a least chance that you miss it.
Dubai Fountain can be viewed and enjoyed from the decks of all the neighboring high rise buildings, especially the famous Burj Khalifah and Dubai Mall. But the most amazing view comes when you ride the traditional Abra and float through the colored waters of Burj Khalifah Lake taking an up close view of this amazing creation… making you stunned at the view of dazzling fountains, lights and music
But where would you get the tickets?! No tickets required, that’s the best thing. You just have to reach the spot outside Dubai Mall or Burj Khalifah and find a suitable place where you can get a clear view of the show.
And when you get there, don’t forget to take your camera so that you can capture this amazing and unique show to bring back home and share with your family and friends. And not to mention, you yourself can relive the moment any time you want
